JBoss Plugin

Requirements
  • Do not run a managed JBoss server on the same machine as the Hyperic Server. This is an unsupported configuration.
  • JBoss 4.2 and later must run under Java 1.5 or later for Hyperic to be able to manage it.
  • The Hyperic Agent can usually discover the location of Jboss but it may be necessary to define its installation directory. If you see the following error when configuring a JBoss Server in Hyperic:
    1. Add the jboss.installpath property to the agent.properties file for the agent. For usage, see jboss.installpath.
    2. Restart the Hyperic Agent.
