About this plugin

This plugin is in the Building Blocks section because it's primarily developed as an example of how to do some neat tricks with HQ. It's only tested on Linux (CentOS 5.4) and is pretty specific to that platform. The shell scripting examples were created in a hurry and could use a lot of cleaning up.

It demonstrates how to use the built in groovy scripting to quickly build your own server detector for auto discovery and how to use multiple scripts to collect metrics.

This plugin is completely unsupported.

Invoking from command line

In order to invoke this plugin from the command line you have to include it and the groovy-scripting plugin
