Ping Plugin

The Ping plugin allows you to perform an ICMP and InetAddress check to any network address to determine availability. Works as a wrapper to the 'ping' utility found on all platforms. This plugin is not enabled by default. It must be copied from $HQ_AGENT_DIR/pdk/examples into the agent and server plugin directories. See Plugin Install Guide.

Note that this plugin is not deployed by default in the HQ bundles. You'll have to copy ping-plugin.xml from the agent-3.0.x/pdk/examples directory into server-3.0.x/hq-engine/server/default/deploy/hq.ear/hq-plugins/ and agent-3.0.x/pdk/plugins/
