Install

First of all install Hyperic on your system.

• Deploy sonic_mq-plugin.jar:
  • http://support.hyperic.com/display/DOC/Deploy+Plugin
• The sonic jars that are needed are:
  • mx4j
  • activation.jar
  • smc.jar
  • mgmt_client.jar
  • mgmt_config.jar
  • sonic_Crypto.jar
  • sonic_XMessage.jar
  • sonic_Client.jar

Configure Hyperic to connect to Sonic

You can change the configuration for the sonic plugin on the Hyperic server.

Change the Domain to the domain of your Sonic installation and the domain container name to the name of your domain container in the Sigar query.

• Default sigar Sate.Name.eq=java,Args.*.eq=DomainName.DomainContainerName

Change the username and password that are needed to login to SOnic in the same location

• Default username: Administrator
• Default Password: Administrator

Change the Connection name
